Is there any way to have a custom wood window blind repaired without spending a lot of $?

I’ve had these wood blinds that I purchased at Home Depot about 15 years and now the strings are breaking one by one so that they are useless. I called the manufacture and they wanted a lot of $ to replace the strings. I’m wondering if it’s possible to find a place that can replace the strings for under so that I don’t have to buy new ones- which cost upwards of 0.

Absolutely! You can replace these strings yourself. They are so easy to replace, a 12 year old can do it. Take a piece of string and go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy them by the package based on the size (length) of your blind. Pulled 2 blinds down from the window and look inside the header board where the strings criscross and study the path of the string. Lay one on the floor extended and fix it while looking at the template on the other blind. After you have fixed the first the rest will be very easy for you and you saved a bundle of money. Good Luck!
